Volunteer Opportunities
The Vermont CFA Society is an organization managed and governed by its volunteers. Volunteering is an excellent way to network and develop leadership skills. We are seeking volunteers with the knowledge, initiative and energy to help us meet our mission and goals. We encourage members to get involved by joining a committee, such as the Program Committee, the Public Awareness Committee, or the Technology Committee. If you are interested in a leadership role consider joining the Board of Directors. A simple way to lend your expertise and ideas to our society is to take on a specific project. There are several one time only, short term projects, which require just a few hours of committment. Below are just some of the opportunities which exist for volunteering:
-
Organize/Suggest a Program - submit your idea to the Program Chair, and help coordinate the event
-
Conduct a book review event which qualifies for CPE credit
-
Help develop and promote our new student membership category
-
Work with the Public Awareness Chair to find ways to promote our society and the CFA charter within the Vermont community
-
Assist our Membership Chair with the membership outreach effort
-
Use your skills to help us better utilize technology to communicate with/ provide information to our members
If you are interested, we look forward to hearing from you! Please contact Diane Sullivan and she will refer you to the appropriate board member who will be in touch with you.
