Scholarships for the CFA Program are available on a limited basis through some universities and CFA Institute local Member Societies.
The scholarships cover the CFA Program enrollment fee and all but $220 of the registration fee. Scholarship recipients pay only $220. Scholarships cannot be deferred to another exam offering. The exam registration fee includes the CFA Program curriculum.
Student Scholarships
Student scholarships are only available for first time Level I candidates and are issued through the university. Applicants must be full-time college or university students in their final undergraduate year. Professors may establish their own criteria for selecting student scholars.
Member Society Scholarships
Applicants are eligible for only one scholarship for each test level from the CFA Society of Louisiana. Applicants must be a student member or member of the CFA Society of Louisiana, are required to submit the Scholarship Application, a resume and college transcript (if graduated within the past 5 years). Letters of recommendation are optional. Please return to Cappy Johnson by January 15, 2010.
