Scholarships for the CFA Program are available on a limited basis through some universities and CFA Institute local Member Societies. Information about these scholarships can be obtained from the CFA Institute website.
Society scholarship are very limited in number and we get a highly competitive pool. The society uses several criteria to award scholarship including (a) recommendation email or letter from a current CFA society board member or volunteer (b) merit .. evidence of academic accomplishments (c) need .. the candidate certifies that the company they work for does not reimburse the costs of CFA exam etc. (d) evidence of volunteer spirit (e) mid-south residency is preferable and (f) other strengths that stand out.
The GI Bill now covers the cost of the CFA Program for U.S. military veterans as well as those serving active duty.
