Ross Glotzbach: Ross Glotzbach has been a vice president in research at Southeastern Asset Management since 2007.  Previously, he worked at SAM as a research analyst after joining the company in 2004 and as an investment banking analyst at Stephens, Inc. in Little Rock from 2003 to 2004. He holds an AB degree from Princeton University with a major in Economics and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.  Mr. Glotzbach is also a guest lecturer at the University of Memphis and serves on the boards of Ballet Memphis and the Grizzlies Academy.    

 

Larry Holland: Larry C. Holland holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA) from the CFA Institute.  He is currently the Treasurer of the CFA Society of Arkansas. Dr. Holland has a PhD in Finance from Oklahoma State University, an MBA from the University of Tulsa, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.  He is a Professor of Finance in the College of Business at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  While at UALR over the last 15 years, he has received numerous teaching and excellence awards, including 3 times as the Outstanding Executive MBA Professor, the UALR Graduate Teaching award, the UALR Excellence in Teaching award for the College of Business, and the Harper W. Boyd Professor of Excellence award.

 

Jerry Laurain: Jerry Laurain serves as the Chief Investment Officer for First Tennessee Bank’s Wealth Management Division. Mr. Laurain studied at the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics/Statistics and a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Finance. He has held positions at Paine Webber Jackson & Curtis (now UBS Securities), Merrill Lynch Government Securities, had his own independent floor brokerage operation at the Chicago Board of Trade and provided consulting services on new products at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the London International Financial Futures Exchange. In 1996, Mr. Laurain joined The Chicago Corporation’s (TCC) Private Equity Group. Following TCC’s acquisition by LaSalle Bank’s parent company, ABN AMRO N.A., Mr. Laurain joined LaSalle to launch the bank’s first Corporate Finance Group in 2000. In 2002, Mr. Laurain joined LaSalle’s Wealth Management Group as the Director of Alternative Investments.

 

Peter Matthews:  Mr. Matthews joined SouthernSun in 2006. He is responsible for company research and analysis of current and potential portfolio holdings. Prior to joining SouthernSun, Mr. Matthews worked in operations for Southeastern Asset Management and the Longleaf Partners Funds. Mr. Matthews graduated from Rhodes College with a major in Economics and subsequently received his M.B.A. and M.S. in Accounting from the University of Memphis. He is a licensed CPA and is a CFA charterholder.

 

Yanling Mayer:  Dr. Yanling Ge currently is a business forecaster at FedEx. She has been with the FedEx Services Forecasting since June 2006.  Prior to joining the company, she was on the faculty of School of Business at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville from 2002 to 2005. She holds a doctorate degree in finance from the University of Mississippi. Her research of interest includes corporate finance, corporate governance, risk management, mutual fund performance, business cycles, and international trade.  

 

Walter Neely:  Walter Neely is a CFA charterholder and is currently on the board of the CFA Society of Mississippi. He has been a grader for the CFA Exam.  He has taught at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, at the Graduate School of Banking of the South at LSU, and at the CFA preparatory program at the University of Vienna (Austria). He currently is a Professor of Finance at Millsaps College, where he directs the Louis Wilson Fund, a student-managed fund.  At various times he served as a chair-holder, interim dean, and director of the European program of the Else School.  He holds a PhD from the University of Georgia; a B.S. and M.B.A. from Mississippi State University. His teaching and research interests include Portfolio Management and Corporate Finance.
