Dear CFA Level I Candidates:
As a follow-up to my previous letter, the CFA Society of Jacksonville will be hosting Informational Sessions on the Society and the Chartered Financial Analyst exam in two locations this Fall.
Gainesville, FL: Monday, September 11th at 6:30 pm Stuzin Hall-Room 104, The University of Florida
Jacksonville, FL: Wednesday, September 20th following the 12:00 pm CFA Society luncheon, The Omni Hotel – 225 Water Street (Candidates are welcome to attend the luncheon during which Harry Marmer, CFA and SVP at Franklin Templeton Investments will speak on the Active versus Passive Management debate.)
I realize we have candidates in other areas of the region that may not be able to attend one of these sessions. However, I encourage all candidates, particularly those unable to attend an informational session, to contact me with any questions as you continue your exam preparations. I would also be happy to facilitate study groups. If you are interested in forming a study group, please send me your preferred contact information and region and I will distribute the information to other Candidates in your area who also express interest.
Again, please fee free contact me if I can provide any information or assistance throughout your preparation.
Happy Studying!
