The CFA Society of IA will once again host a New Charterholder Reception to recognize those who have passed any level of the CFA Exam series and those who have recently earned their CFA charters. This year’s event will run from 4:30pm-7pm, on Thursday, Nov. 20th, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Urbandale. More details will be sent closer to time, but in the meantime, please mark your calendars for the event.
We encourage all members to attend and show their support for our newest professional colleagues. Congratulations those who’ve successfully passed part of the exam this year!
CFA Scholarships Available - Deadline December 15
The CFA Society of Iowa is pleased to offer ten scholarships to candidates for the Spring 2009 CFA Exam to be held in June. The scholarships cover all but $220 of the registration and enrollment fee for the exam. Scholarships will be awarded based on need, commitment to the profession, potential for membership in the CFA Society of Iowa, academic excellence and relevant work experience. Applications can be found at www.cfaiowa.org under the CFA Program tab.
Submit the full application to education@cfaiowa.org.
